I do think T-Mobile should be sued if they used "locked in for life" in their marketing. I also believe that if you advertise any price for a package it should at a minimum include everything that is part of that package. If I am in the grocery store and pick up a tube of toothpaste and look at the shelf price, I do not expect to get to the register and see "packaging costs", "transportation costs", "stocking fee" added on top of the shelf price. I expect that price to include all of those costs. That is one of the things I despise about car dealerships and I firmly believe that they should have to price their vehicles the same as EVERY other retail outlet prices their goods. I 100% agree that the "HD technology fee" is 100% BS.

I welcome competition to Comcasts monopoly in my area. I doubt Amazon will compete, though. I envision them inserting advertising everywhere technically possible while offering unreliable service and practicaly zero tech support.

before saying if i would or wouldn't use it; I'd need to know prices, how long the prices would actually stick, how good the internet would actually work in real world situations, etc.

We should have had fiber for everyone just like everyone has access to having a landline. The government has given out multi billions to the isp's and phone companies since the 90's and who ever got the money has pocketed the vast majority and showed very little in return. Enough to show the government that were expanding and have the government not go after whoever got the free money.
