Dr. King is brilliant. He speaks with nuance and insight that no, absolutely no leaders or politicians are able to today.

Wish he were alive today. We definitely need leaders like him to remind us to consistently sit in judgment on ourselves.

Only 35 years old…and definitely holding his own with anyone of any age, on any topic in any setting. Very intelligent, knowledgeable, & articulate.

23:25, That needs to be said more. Black Americans have never stormed our capitol. We have had one Black American President so far with Barack Obama. He did not storm our capitol or try to stop a peaceful transfer of administrations. And Dr. King, with all the racism and hatred he had to deal with, he always was a patriot, supported our country, and did his best to improve the lives of Black Americans and all Americans. He is GOLD! and one of America's treasures💯

Wow! It’s amazing to think that this man was in his early thirties at the time of this interview. He was mature, articulate, politically aware, proud and assertive. How did we lose these admirable traits in our community, given the numerous opportunities we’ve had? I am simultaneously proud and disappointed.

This conversation is still relevant for our times in 2024.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Not much has changed since 1964, with the exception of the our country being more divided today. There is such an uneasy feeling blanketing this nation today. Something is about to happen.

Any man who lets God speak for him and through him need not fear a debate with anyone.

This was a great & good, man man with flaws & failures just like all of us, but in my eyes, his failings made him even a greater man to me. His loss was a terrible blow to our nation. 77 y/o

I can only imagine how great our country would have been if Martin Luther King and JFK had never been assassinated

He was so intelligent in his mannerisms and response to questions geared to trap him - especially the communistic questions. J Edgar Hoover tried!
