Honestly these videos really make me think about how much waste we create with fast fashion and in general when things get lost in the mail. It's insane how much clothes and other things we create.

WOW I bet you were exhausted after all that. You did have some really great finds. I loved the jewelry part and I hope you kept the gown, it looked great on you. The vacuum was another great find. Just wanted to say I was in a nursing home for a yr, and there's a lot of amputees out there. IF you can find a place to donate the single shoes I know there's people out there who would appreciate them.

For all the clothes and stuff you found that still had the security tags and also the dirty/beat up stuff, it could’ve been an overstock reseller’s stuff. It’s actually really common for resellers to get products that still have security tags and/or products that were “damaged” so the original retailer can’t sell them. Lots of times the “damaged” shoes just got crushed or something and might have scuffs, indents, etc. but you can usually clean them up and brush, polish, or repair the damage in another way & then sell them on like Poshmark, Ebay, Mercari, etc. for only a small reduction from regular retail price. Sometimes damaged clothes just have a pull, loose button, broken zipper or unraveled seam, and those are all suuperrr easy to fix most of the time too & can be sold for close to full retail too!

I love unravelling the mystery of what happened and where the shipment was headed. These look like mostly shipments that were bound for a retail store, which would explain the security tags, 100s of the same thing, etc.

03:58 depends on the type of security tag but a decent strength magnet can remove them usually. 13:07 a Mayhem Spot Bike (if complete including the wheel set and tyres) is like $6000 rrp. And the cannondale frame is easily a few hundred bucks depending on the specific frame, carbon fibre being worth more an alloy frame being on the cheaper end.

I love watching things like this because it’s so interesting to see what people either. Don’t pick up form the post office, gets lost in the mail, or like this one where it’s bulk things. Because it shows how much people make things and create things, and how much we actually use and care for it in the end. Like I still have a pair shorts from my eighth grade so when I was about 14 and I’m getting ready to turn 21 in September. And I kept my sleep shorts but now I can officially wear them out again because I fit in them properly. I didn’t see the point getting rid of them because they were good enough to be sleep shorts so I kept him and for me if I can find another reason to keep things than trash it. I do, a lot of my clothes are years old. When I get new clothes every year it’s because my family gets it a Christmas for me because when don’t you get clothes at the holidays.

If you see hangers on them it's because they ship the old hangers back to the warehouse to already prehung so it makes it easier for the sales employees to hang. That's how Kohl's does it at least

One of the downfalls I can see is that there is always somebody on the inside that gets to stack and package this up that has somebody on the outside bidding on these and they can tell them which pallet is the sure fire onr that was secretly packed with the super good stuff on the inside.
