I didn't know "sankyu" was actually used casually, I thought it was just a badly pronounced thank you in anime.

"say it like you mean it"
"Arigatooo"

That really broke me and got me laughing 😂

Also, l often use “あざす”(azasu) and “うっす”(ussu) instead of ありがとう (arigatou).

Did you know that if you ever use the casual way of thank you to your sensei, they will think that you disrespect them? And did you know that if you use the formal of thank you to your friends, they will think that you guys not close?

Be sure to learn both the formal and casual way and use it to the right person, because Japanese takes it seriously.

I’m Japanese. We have more ways to say “thank you “ as follows

1.あざます/azamasu/
Casual

2. あざす/azasu/
very casual

3.あざ/aza/
Super casual

If you pronounce “a” and “s”, most of people will recognize in casual scenes.
