Response time on your old ssd are much quicker than your new pcie 5 ssd in task manager

I got one of these but for my x570 Gen4. It basically pushes the slots maximum potential lol but still has better scores in the Read section and “mix” test, and lower latency read speeds than both the 980 and 990 pro tested using the real world performance benchmark in crystaldiscmark

Very interesting. So it fits under the Noctua fins just fine. I will wait for a 4TB gen 5 drive before making the plunge. Very informative video with regard to performance and heat. Who will be the first to put two of these in a Raid config, I wonder.

fast loading is nice and all but what we really want is that gpu decompression. Offloading the cpu is gonna drastically minimize the stutters. Would be interesting to see if gen 5 offers noticable performance advantage in that area.

9:59 SATA can be the wrong option, cause those SATA contact points have small surface.
Which will melt the connector when the device is pulling out of specs power.
Molex is jank we all know, but it has much higher connection surface for higher power draw than SATA.

I'll wait for Inland to release a 4tb version doing 12000mb/s maybe by summer time

What do you mean the graphics card will lose half of its lanes??

would like to see the comparison between this ssd vs gen 4 or gen 3 side by side so we can actually see how fast its loading in

Gen5 and molex connector?? (giant facepalm) . These companies really need sanity check. Even having sata there is ridiculous just give me 4 pin pwm fan connector

You will NOT lose half of your graphics card bandwidth on Intel platform. That statement is ridiculous. gen 4 GPUs dont even max out gen 4 PCIe slots and gen 5 slots are double that. Anyone running intel 12th or 13th gen will be fine, especially due to the fact that NVME drives dont max out their respective gen slots either. Dont understand why these youtubers dont do more research before giving out bad information.
