Co2 laser chillers are BETTER

There are tons of benefits of having a water chiller for your laser engraver.

Both the CW-5202 and CW-5200 laser water chillers are a better solution than a small pump and bucket for cooling the water for your laser.

The CW-5202 laser water chiller is a more efficient way to cool your water and save you money. It's also quieter and easier to use than a small pump, so you'll be able to keep your laser running smoothly. Thanks for watching!

I had no idea you had to go through all this for a laser. Good video and explanation.

Excellent video. Very informative. Thank you!

That is not a water pump, it is an air compressor at the begining of video.

Another great video, well presented and informative. 👍🏻 went I upgraded my laser cutter to 100w I had to go for the cw5000 just to run it. A bucket was just not going to handle it! Even here in the cold ass UK 😂

I was using an ice maker for a bit, and it works, but it's only good if I'm using less than 20% of my 60W laser. Any time I do cutting for extended periods the temp would spike and I'd have to pause the job for 20 minutes.

I'm going with the CW3000 (but generic since they're sold out). Hoping this'll be enough as I'm in a colder environment. My basement, even in summer is maybe 25C/80F even if it's 90F/30C outside. Vast majority of the time it's 15C to 20C.

Interesting to hear a Texans view, being up in Western PA myself. I don't know how yinz deal with that heat...

So, you cannot start the chiller unless you connect the alarm cable?

So question, did you think something like this is needed for someone running a CNC with a water cooled spindle? Enjoyed the video sir!

Hi Bro,
I have a question, the water outlet from my co2 laser is very thin, i think there shoul be a dust that is blocking the flow,
How can i remove the block in water line ?

Connecting the water pump to outlet of Laser machine will remove the block ?

why are you using the air assist pump for demonstration and not the real pump??

This might be a dumb question but since the 5202 can cool 2 machines, could it be wired to cool a laser tube and a water cooled spindle on a cnc 🤔🤔🤔

I'm thinking of buying an Omtech 40w desktop laser for my first laser. then down the road, if I like it, I'll probably spring for a much larger laser, maybe an 80w or 100w unit. I have a friend that has a larger chiller similar to the ones you showed in this video. He had it on his large (I think 150w) laser that no longer works. He said I could have the chiller, and was thinking of using it on the 40w desktop unit. Though it says these chillers are for 50w and above lasers, do you think it would be okay to use it on the 40w desktop laser? I could get it at a very reasonable price, and was thinking that it could be used on the larger laser that may come at a later date. My only other option would the the other chiller (cooler) that you showed that is $160. I do live in a hot climate (Northern California), so I think a chiller would be almost for sure needed. here. Thanks for the videos!

Is this a cryocooler can this be used to make liquid nitrogen or liquid air?

The "radiators" do not look like they would radiate a lot. I assume they put out warm air, not infrared radiation. (I'm just being... you can call it "pedantic".)

Investing in a water chiller for your laser engraver, such as the Monport Laser with chiller attachment, offers numerous advantages over traditional cooling methods. The Monport Laser, compatible with both CW-5202 and CW-5200 laser water chillers, ensures efficient and reliable cooling, enhancing the performance and longevity of your equipment. With its advanced cooling technology, the Monport Laser optimizes temperature control, providing a quieter and more user-friendly experience compared to using a small pump and bucket. By upgrading to the Monport Laser with chiller, you'll enjoy smoother operation, reduced maintenance costs, and prolonged equipment lifespan, allowing you to focus on your laser projects with confidence and ease.

You are talking water pump while showing the air assist pump.

Someone on one of the forums recommended putting the bucket in a mini fridge and running lines through, so I did that and ice cold water all day

Although I had to get a bigger one to have extra room for the beer

The HEAT yea, but don't 4get about that bad HUMIDITY that comes with it. I lived in that hot town in the 60's, now you know how old I am, and It was HOT. I lived in South Park.
