VERY COMPLICATED. THE EASIEST WAY IS GIVEN
LITTLE TIME ANYBODY CAN LEARN IT & CALCULATE QUICKLY.
Ex, FIND THE DAY OF THE WEEK OF 15TH AUGUST, 1947?

STEP 1:
How many times does the number 12 fit as a whole into the two last
digits of the year number?Last two year digits: 47. 12 fits in 3
time(s) RESULT IS 3.

STEP 2:
What is the difference between the two last digits of the year
number and the product of 12 with the result of STEP 1 ?
Last two year digits: 47. 12 times Step 1: 12 x 3 = 36. 47 - 36 =
RESULT IS 11.

Remember, if 12 doesn't fits in the year's last two digits(i.e. year
1910), then the result will be only 10.

STEP 3:
How many times does the number 4 fit into the result of STEP 2? Result
from last step: 11. 4 fits in : 2
RESULT IS 2.

STEP 4:
What is the century's anchor day?
1800-1899 - Friday(5), 1900-1999 - Wednesday(3), 2000-2099 -
Tuesday(2), 2100-2199 - Sunday 1947 falls
between RESULT IS 3 (Wednesday).

STEP 5:
Add up all the results of STEP 1, 2, 3 & 4.

So it's 3 + 11 + 2 + 3 = RESULT IS
19.

STEP 6:
Subtract whole multiples of 7 from the result of STEP 5.This will result
in a number between 0 and 6, which corresponds to the doomsday of the
year.
19 - 7 = 12
12 - 7 = 5
OR 19 - 7x2=5.

0 - Sunday, 1 - Monday, 2 - Tuesday, 3 - Wednesday,
4 - Thursday, 5 - Friday,
6 - THE RESULT
NUMBER 5 IS A FRIDAY.

STEP 7:
Find the closest doomsday (WHICH WILL BE FRIDAY FROM THE ABOVE
CALCULATION).
It means all the dates given below in the year 1947 must be a FRIDAY.

January 3 (JANUARY 4 FOR LEAP 1947 NOT A LEAP
YEAR)
February 28 (FEBRUARY 29 FOR LEAP 1947 NOT A
LEAP YEAR)
April 4
May 9
June 6
July 11
August 8
September 5
October 10
November 7
December CLOSEST DOOMSDAY OF 15 AUGUST IS
August 8 FROM THE ABOVE LIST.

STEP 8:
Count forward/backward from the doomsday to the specified date.08 August
1947 Friday SO 15 August 1947 is THE FINAL
AUGUST 1947 IS FRIDAY.

There is a different way bro, it consists of 12 numbers, but never going above 6 so u have 7 digits 0 to 6 0 represents Sunday. But u have to have the key which 12 months know the number representing the month way easier, but 4 get I learned it from a Chinese man who was very smart.

These doomsday things make it so very complicated!!! And there are way more errors being produced when you get one step wrong. When I was younger, I found a better method in one of my mother‘s magazines and it still needed improvement and so I improved on it. July 27, 2007: 2007-2000(last solar cycle year before 2007) = the 7th year, which has a year code of 1, on my perpetual calendar. July 27, 2007 is on a Friday.

You don't need to calculate New Year's Day, do you? Why not just calculate the year's Doomsday directly? ( 2 + YY + (YY/4) ) MOD 7, where YY/4 is rounded down.
