Before you play this just know that it's not totally complete. You will have to look for part 2 which will take a whole 10 seconds of your time. He did not state this and now people are so outraged it's ridiculous. It's free people! I am grateful because I can't afford to pay to listen so for whatever reason it's in 2 parts and he didn't state that, I'm still grateful. So thank you.

This story is written by someone who truly loves and understands dogs. Dean Koontz is a true genius of story telling and has given me so much pleasure over the years. thank you 😊

Got me with odd Thomas series many many years ago.... way before odd Thomas the movie.... now I look for anything and everything DEAN KOONTZ writes ... definitely a legend.... I’m listen to this audio book as a nighttime story.. but I do prefer to read, then listen.... and with DEAN KOONTZ it’s hard to stop listening and go to slept because it’s GOOD.. THANK YOU.. ♥️

The reason we had our beloved Golden Retriever Boston, the most beautiful and kind dog in history. We have been together through all 11 years of his life and his passing left our family with a shadow sadness although it's been 7 years ago now.
He taught my kids to walk, let himself to be painted with finger paints, prodded and examined by toddler doctors. Assisted with changing nappies, bathing, feeding, going to the nursery and walking them back from school. Always there, rarely uninterested. I think he was a dotting mother in his past life... :)

Koontz is my favorite author right after Stephen King. This is a very good book and I hope I like the narrator because I like listening to these audiobooks before I go to bed at night.

Thank you for this, first "Adult Fiction" I ever read at about age 13-14. By age 20 I'd read it three times and owned this recording on cassette. This was my first time hearing it in almost 2 decades. The nostalgia mixed with new understanding was quite the experience.

ATTENTION: Part 2 no longer seems available. There are many sleazy ways to find the full audiobook on other sites, but they are by another reader. I prefer this readers' voice but I don't know their name so it's proving difficult for me to find anywhere even for sale. If any of you manage to find it, please reply letting me know.

Read this book in County. Was missing the cover it must have gotten read quite a lot and was missing the first chapter. Inspired me to write myself. Loved this classic by Koontz, thanks for the upload.

Absolutely wonderful story, from the coolest dog ever to two of the scariest creatures and everything in between. One of the best narrators ever
