Shannon is right. IF he's healthy, they'll be dominant. But he never is, so going by history... no they have no chance whatsoever. When you make an off-season aquisition like PG, your expectations are championship or bust. Them making the playoffs wouldn't be good enough and I don't think embiid personally will be healthy enough come post-season if he plays a lot of games, and if he doesn't play enough games they're toast.

These guys simply don't watch the games. If they did they would know that they have been putrid without Embiid because 1) It's taking Nick Nurse time to realize that he needs to play players like McCain and Yabusele and less of the old fogies 2) Paul George has been out and then on a minutes restriction and will start to play a LOT better than this soon 3) Maxey has been out recently and the games he did play Nick Nurse literally had NO plan for teams focusing totally on Maxey ... They won't be as bad as in the past when Embiid is out ... They will get better.

A lot of teams in the east are doing worse than expected. But with records like 2-7, 1-7 they’re only back 5-6 games before breaking even. There’s tons of basketball left. Even the Cavaliers will cool off eventually and whoever beats them will get a huge morale boost in the locker room.

I feel bad for Nick Nurse who is a championship level coach. The 76ers were rolling last year before Embiid got hurt and now nobody is healthy this year.

Last year Joel was sitting whole 4th qtrs. They can make a run and he can rest at the same time. They just have to keep leads when he’s off the floor which before last year was a huge problem and made him play more minutes than he had to.

I hate how people take things and run with em. Embiid said "if i had to guess". He did not say I'm never playing back to backs again. He left room for the possibility stating that the medical staff was working on a plan in that he might have to acquiesce to that plan. Well plans can change

First PG goes to the Clippers (and extends with them), despite of Kawhis injuries. Then he goes to the Sixers who are too relient on Embiid and has a long history of injuries. Looking stricly from a basketball perspective, those are some horrible decisions..

Sure, if there's one thing embid can do, it's win regular season games. Now playoffs are a whole different story for him lol. They can definitely turn in around

Almost nobody in The East has a winning record. The best thing about The Sixers season is everyone is underperforming except the Celtics and Cavs, which still has the Sixers in play for a top 4 seed. I also believe the 2-7 is an aberration to some degree.

Don't look now but the sixers are getting healthy while everyone else is getting hurt. There's two teams in the east above 500. If Philadelphia fans weren't so finicky they might realize they're not in that bad of a spot

maybe but their depth sucks, starting 2 bench players every game in oubre and martin and bringing old guys off the bench won’t get them anywhere.
