This was an incredible video as is the others that I've been fortunate enough to view. Which brings me to share something that happened to me many years ago. I had, had my Private Pilots License, Instrument and Commercial certifate for some time and I had flown many hours as a Private Pilot. One event I was invited to at the airport was to recognize young pilots who were preparing for airline pilot jobs. So I went to the event and when I arrived, I remember a person (I won't identify their race), approached me and thought I was the baggage handler. When I said I was not, they then said to me, "you must be the janitor." What the person did not know was that I was the youngest pilot with the minimum flying hours that was honored for my achievement, since I had obtained my Private Pilots license in 40 hours. The requirements for obtaining a Private Pilots license was 40 hours. Not since 1950, had anyone ever did that. The FAA was there to honor me. This was in 1980. Too many people judge people by the race/color. The person approached me after the ceremony to apologize. I accepted their apology. But I told the person I hoped they learned a powerful lesson.
