Sir a add tip.
Take a strip of stainless steel and bend it around the very tip. Drill holes and use the two bolts on the end to mount it. This is use to protect the blade from things like a wall. Because the blades can be bend from striking a hard surface.
There's your dinner. ☝

Cornhead is "000 grease" ("triple ought grease"), btw. Also generally used in lawn tractor type transaxles, and that's why they have no gaskets & aren't glued together with gasket goop.

So thick it's almost solid (no leaks), barely runny enough to be liquid (yet lubricates).

I'm tired of seeing transaxles gooped together to hold gear oil. Oil isn't viscous enough to work with the tolerances in a mower!
