BMW E46 M3 DINAN S2 - One Take

This exceptionally clean BMW E46 M3 was fitted from new with the DINAN S2 Package, which included a new airbox, air meter, muffler and ECU, good for an extra 30 HP. Then they re-engineered the suspension, changing the shocks, springs, camber plates, and swaybars. In 2003, the DINAN S2 package carried a $18,000 premium over the price of a standard M3. This example is clean, with low-miles and a perfect example of late-model tuning house excellence from DINAN.

I rewatched this vid because I did a random search for Dinan S3 E46M3. I bought one this Summer and just love it.

Anyhow, the comments actually are a pleasant surprise. Most people are positive and genuinely happy for the guy and that is, frankly, rare on YouTube, lol. Good to see. This is a great community.

I will say, I laughed at the SMG convertible comment, as I still have a stock ‘03 version. I enjoy that too, even though the S3R is a different beast altogether. The SMG is absolutely made for these kind of canyon roads. The whole key is to drive it hard. The faster the better. It’s a sports car. 👍

Fantastic machine. The last proper M3 IMO. The new M4 has nothing on these amazing examples of what the M Division really can do [with Dinan's help]. Would take a clean E46 any day over a new BMW. They have lost their way.
