All of these matches were high level. So lovely to see. Shapo lost but he was looking really good out there. It’s just that Mpetshi Perricard was a bit better today. Incidentally enough, he slayed two Canadians back to back 😂

Very cool to see a lot of the young guys win against the older gen today. Shelton and Fils, but also Rune and Perricard. All four semifinalists in Basel were born in the 2000s.

Fils has reached a new level this year. If he can handle the tour grind, he is going to be too 10. Gio and Ben will have great careers, maybe even GS finals (Gio @ wimbledon?), but Fils is the whole package, no weaknesses
