Humanz has its share of strong performances and musical highlights, but all too often its guests are misplaced or poorly utilized and the songwriting/production just isn't up to the Gorillaz standard.

I don't like how Jamie Hewlett's work is being less and less prominent. There's always a lot of focus on Damon Albarn, which is understandable, but the visuals is the other 50% of what makes Gorillaz cool. 50% is a lot. Don't reduce that.

The best part about Humanz for me is the fact that I ate a pepperoni roll while listening to it.
It was such a good pepperoni roll and whenever I hear songs from Humanz I am reminded of it.
Thank you Humanz, for reminding me of how good that pepperoni roll was.

"Sleeping Powder" was the best song from this album... and it wasn't even on the album.

To be brutally honest, Humanz is like a party with Murdock and 2D but they've already left. So you're stuck there with all their weird friends who are already half drunk. Every conversation you get into is either pretentious or dull. You leave the party irritated and waiting for the next album. 6/10
