The city's history goes back many years and encompasses a variety of Vietnamese cultures. From its simple shops and restaurants all painted the same color, to its romantic canals and bright lanterns beaming at night, to the luscious green rice paddies surrounding the town, it's really a unique place that we will always fondly remember. We especially loved the Japanese covered bridge with a pagoda inside, and also the night boat ride in a canal adorned with lanterns!
