Awesome fish man it ia so thrilling to watch those hugh murray cod smash the top waters also i am 12 turning 13 in a month and live in victoria I am more into bream fish and smaller fish like that but would love to catch a murray cod one day and i was also getting one to keep in my fish tank after sadly my silver perch Bob passed away and i would like to know if you got any tips to keeping one anyway keep up the amazing work.👍🎣🤙

Cod fishing seems similar to North American Muskie fishing. Right down to the high effort/low numbers, and their tendency to follow baits to the boat. We never take our bait from the water unless we do a "figure 8" or "L-sweep" with the bait next to the boat. Sometimes for minutes to trigger a follower.
