Building a LEGO Robot Arm, to Help Me Build LEGO

I built a LEGO Robot arm like the one Tony Stark has, and it's probably 20% dumb-er than that one.
and I call him... Hand-E

Big thanks to RacingBrick for coming to the rescue with the programming advice

I think if the base is heavier i think it can maybe hold another camera for panning shots haha!! That aside, the editing and story is phenomenal! Even for someone like me who don't really build technic it was an enjoyable ride from start to finish

Can’t wait for a part two! Great work. Try worm gears, they give great torque, slow the motors down, and it’s basically impossible to make them slip
Also for the turntable you could add a ring on top of the wheels like a mechanical sandwich to make it less wobbly

Great project! This reminds me of a school project I once had where a friend an i programmed a robot to build a lego house ;D
I think we had around 5k code lines for just a 10x10 cm house with 4 walls, a door, and a window with a prebuild roof that the robot had to place on top.

So seeing you struggle with just the first brick placement really brings memories back. Looking forward to seeing the updated version ;D

One day this man is gonna walk into his studio and not going to need to do anything because he’s built a fully automated lego assembly line.

Bro Doesn't Every Lego Fan Wanna Build Something like this

Even though he's controlling it, why do I feel like the robot has a separate personality?

Wow, thats amazing! I think now, you should make a brick storage unit, and have a brick selector screen. you pick a brick, and the machine gives you the box! (can be integrated onto your stash in the back)

This guy is like Tony Stark with Legos!
I'd love to see a working Lego claw machine game, maybe the prizes could be polybags and Minifigure packs

This would talk me like 10 weeks but you are so smart and builds this big arm in only 15 hours, impressive

🔥🦾 Amazing technical feat! all you need is an appropriate controller, or even better make an ia that can follow instructions!

may i suggest, for the rotation of the base, to check out the bag n° 6 of lego 42082 set? (a red crane). Maybe it could inspire you to come up to a more solid design to prevent the crazy wobbling

You need weights (the battery box for example) which you place on the opposite side of the moving arm to compensate the wheight.
