I actually am also confused by how JB tries to sell a new colorway every week. Sometimes it's just not even one model. An oversaturated market becomes even more saturated that yes, people become less gravitated to buy stuff. There are still sneakerheads like me who are in for what they like and not the hype. But it's sad that what's hype is only to build up clout to build uo ego.

I'm really happy to see these don't have the steel toe build anymore, I hope the infrareds next year will be the same. If they truly went back to the old PU midsole, that would be unbelievable.

A genuine sneakerhead right here. Last thing I bought was the White/Black/Red AJ XIIIs. Gunning for the White/Black XIs in December. Until then, I'm good on everything else.

I think it's a mix of things. Ppl are buying earlier in the year because most ppl can afford things early while their pockets are full. As time goes on, things start to sit and you become more picky about what releases you want to choose from. Not to mention, other companies are also getting consumer's money. With so many options available (most at better prices for better quality), it's hard to stick with just one brand. Different age groups also like different things as well, like Vans and so on.

Your point on sneakerheads is really interesting. It is kinda sad that only hyped stuff sells. It makes it nice for me and you, but shoes like this sitting is sad. Love this shoe, will definitely grab a pair when I can

Personally I like that they are dropping a lot of new colors. I love sneakers. Not so much into to Jordan’s but I love the idea behind the tinker series. Especially the Air Raid 8s. There are just too many coming out but the fact that a lot of them sit is great because you can get good releases at a better cost

surprisingly very comfortable when I first put them on and these are the first size 12s that actually fit on my wide feet.
