...Then to birdie the hole on the second round on your last competitive Open round in 2015 is something straight from the golfing gods... So thank you Sir Nick Faldo for so many great memories. Golf hasn't been - isn't - and won't be the same without you playing - you are unique.

Faldo was fantastic at the 1990 Open. Only 4 bogeys in 72 holes. 3 of them were at the 17th. He made sure that he didn't take risks and didn't take more than 5 on the hole. Still won by 5 shots.

The finest par 4 in golf?! really?! It looks like it has been designed by a committee. It has no style or anything that pretends to be integral to a well designed course. It looks like what it is. An out of sorts cow paddock that has been encroached by urban sprawl.
