It worked for me even though I was thoroughly confused and would have no idea how to use it again. I pretty much fluked it I think! There appear to be two different apps plus an online version. One of the apps asks you to sign in with your Microsoft account but when you do it says This app is only for school or work?! I hope they simplify it. I've downloaded the non-work/school one but when I try to open it nothing happens. If I am talking to someone from their work (but not my work i.e.. a job interview) do I need to use the work app or the personal app?

I'm panicking. I have just realised that chat in teams only shows chat one month back! I have important recordings that were automatically uploaded into chat 2 months ago. I assumed everything that is uploaded in my chat is mine so I can access it anytime so I never actually specifically saved any of them. Help

Making things simpler that is the trend of whatever you do, but seems MS team just made things harder to use. why it cant be like a normal chat tools with additional MS apps? for example, for adding a contact, just need to click on an add button right beside my name and put someone's account, search and add done! however for team I need to 1. I need click on a landline logo, then the other persons team account, try to click on the search button beside it, nothing comes ups. oh need to click on add contacts, OK here lead to step 2. finally find that person. why the *** do I need to put his mobile number in there? cant we just chat in team ? isn't that the whole purpose? a lot of great concept with team such as extended apps, but you really need a new product manager for Team.

When I registered to microsoft teams free only 4 icons appeared on the left side (activities, chat, meeting and calendar) and the 3 horizontal dots did not appear. Why is this? when I see in the various youtube tutorials to register appear as 6 or 7 icons plus the 3 horizontal dots. Also, the functions to make a proper meeting are not complete.
