I'd love to see the press pool and the briefing room filled with more independent journalists, podcasters, and YouTubers. Most of them get more views than any cable news network already anyway.

He should only offer press passes to to reputable independent journalists. I'd love to see a Michael Shellenberger or an Amber Duke ask questions of the administration. Hell, it would be fun to get Jimmy Dore in there.

The thing Trump never gets credit for is how incredibly accepting he is of former critics and "enemies". In fact, the opposite is true and media never stops taking about vindictiveness and retaliation. He's picking RFK, the guy that called him "the German H-person" is his VP, and Little Marco! Trump is almost the least grudgy person in all of politics!

That said, he is expected to clean house all over the place now. But that's not retaliation. It's actual legit housecleaning.

The WH Press office should arrange the seating at press conferences. "Invited" media should get priority seating and priority questioning, while all other media can sit in the back and hope they get picked to ask a question. All media should be allowed to apply for "Invited" status which will be granted if you demonstrate balanced reporting (i.e. both sides being given an opportunity to air their views; editorializing kept to a minimum in favor of straight reporting of the facts).

While I agree that it is a positive development for Trump to warm to the media, I disagree with Robbie as it relates to Mika and Joe Scarborough. Until the 2016 election Joe Scarborough was practically in bed with Donald Trump. Trump called into Scarborough’s show on a frequent basis and there was a blossoming relationship. In fact, Scarborough expected to be named as Trumps running mate for the 2016 election. That did not happen and within months Scarborough did a 180 on Trump leading to him anointing Trump as successor to Adolph Hitler. The idea that Trump is a fascist, will put opposition into concentration camps, is a racist, etc., all originated with Joe and Mika. Anyone who watched their show could see that they spent hours each morning spewing hate and stoking the flames of violence. They stoked the Russia collusion, laptop, and all the other leftist hate talk making Rachael Maddow look like an amature. Now all of a sudden they are open to communication channels with Adolph Hitlers successor. These two are frauds, and while it makes sense for Trump to heal relations with left media journalists, these two are anything but journalists. They are purveyors of hate and opportunists. They have no credibility, and if somehow there is a change in the political winds against Trump they will be among the first to exploit it and change their tune.

Journalistic agencies, shouldn't have their press passes revoked, but Jim Acosta, as an individual, should absolutely have been denied a press pass.

If you want rational discussion watch broadcasters that are not owned/controlled by billionaires - you still can watch the clown content on channels like this without the hatred the billionaires get excited about. Now all the clowns are switching their scripts as they try to stroke their fragile egos.
