In this video, we have shown some clinical signs of Marfan syndrome observed in a young boy. In this video, you can see arachnodactyly, Steinberg sign (thumb sign) and Walker-Murdoch sign (wrist sign) which are features of Marfan Syndrome. Other clinical findings of Marfan syndrome include long and narrow face, blue sclera, subluxation of lens, ectopia lentis, iridodonesis (iris vibrates during movement), atrophy or iris, high arched palate, pectus excavatum (funnel chest, the ribs and sternum grow inward and form a dent in the chest), pectus carinatum (pigeon breast, the breastbone and ribs are pushed outward), kyphoscoliosis (a deviation of the normal curvature of the spine in the sagittal and coronal planes), high arched foot or pes planus, aortic regurgitation (AR) and mitral regurgitation (MR), arm span more than height, lower segment (pubis to sole of foot) more than upper segment (pubis to vertex), #marfansyndrome #steinbergsign #walkermurdochsign #clinicalexamination

I will do medical test for Australia visa. I have to complete 3 tests chest x-ray, blood test and HIV. Marfan syndrome will be diagnosed medically? In blood test?
