Portal Beta 2005 & More 2006 Content

This video is the available 2005 Portal Beta using the official Valve assets. The first 13 minutes of the video is 2005 Beta content and the rest is stuff that was made in 2006 such as earlier builds of maps from the retail game and developer test maps where they test portal collision and other mechanics.

I like how it's mostly half-life models and textures and then all of a sudden, the portal turret model is just there. also interesting how the portal stand thing has the final model but the gun in first-person has the beta model.

this makes me feel that the original portal was meant to take place near the time of half-life 2 I mean, it makes since half-life 2 came out in 2004 and the beta uses a lot of assets form that game to, so i dont know
