Here's a fact: for six seasons, they have been fending off walkers with guns. Really loud guns. And without ear protection of any sorts. In the long term, that can lead to serious hearing issues that might be the cause of why they can't hear walkers.

As a little kid I always wondered when I saw my parents watching Walking Dead “Why are all the characters so scared of the zombies? They are so slow” I still haven’t watched the show but this is still super hilarious
