it's 2024 years later and your video is still better than almost every result I got when trying to search "where to get new window screens", how to replace window screens, etc. This was exactly what I was looking for, I guess I just kept searching poorly. Great video for a noob like me. Here’s a quick tip though for people who want the tabs on the inside of their house (on the same side as the spline). Don’t put the tabs on until you spline around about 1/2 of the screen (start your spline on the spring clip side) as you get around to the place you like your tab to go, push the tab down over the screen but before the spline—THEN—spline over the tab (which is now installed on top of the screen). Another tip, make sure the corner pieces have the hollow bit facing inward with the spline (and as shown in this video). SUPER PRO TIP (from a guy who’s done 4 of these now with 3 mistakes!) to avoid nasty excess screen buildup (think wavy screen NOT taut) try to align the pattern of the screen with the frame. I’ve found this last bit results in tight, well stretched screens. Good luck!!
