🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.

I have several series on my channel that you might be interested in such as: Body Types, Contouring, Makeup History and Makeup Transformations. Also some random beauty hacks about skin care, hair, nails and beauty in general.

Your content is so unique... you don't follow trends, and you don't do things for 'clickbait' value. You are by far my most favourite beauty Youtuber. You are just a class act all round.

When you said you loved uneven lips and wouldn't correct them yourself I got so surprised because I swear I have never heard anyone calling them beautiful before and it's my biggest insecurity so like, thank you so much for that! This kind of made me re-realize that wow, there are so many types of beauty and genuinely everyone finds attractive something different so there's no point in forever hating on certain body parts and obsessive wishing they looked different.
Keep doing great job, hope you have lovely evening! <3

The French lip thing is true. Our spoken language effects our face muscles and therefore structure.
Amazing that being born in different linguistic environments means we turn out looking slightly different.

I find your videos to be the most helpful and inspirational of any I have ever seen. Thank you! I love that you focus on bone structure, light and shadow, and the planes of the face. You have helped me understand how important that is, and what you do truly is art. I appreciate that your approach is timeless, elegant and classic and focuses on everyone's inherent beauty rather than the latest, trendiest makeup. You are truly unique and a master of your craft.

I am always so grateful for your videos. So many YouTube MUA's talk about color theory and texture, but you are the ONLY one who talks about geometry, shading, and technique. You are truly the best!

Aly, thanks for coming through on responding to your subscribers questions. And for doing it in a way where we actually learn something and not just see the same thing over and over. No lie, I learned technique from other talented beauty gurus but the most important fundamental things I learned from you.

Every one of your videos that I have watched blows me away! You make so much sense and you cover the topic flawlessly every time, you explain yourself far more clearly than others who speak English as their first (and only) language! So happy I found you

Great tips as always! Love your videos! My favorite to do is over line slightly in the center of top and bottom and then follow natural lip line on the rest of my lips. I love your hair wavy in the insert videos where you demonstrated the lining. So cute! xoxo

"Separate lips" are how my lips are naturally shaped/colored. It's really frustrating trying to wear lipstick because of this since the corners of my lips don't touch (or something, it's hard to describe). I've never seen a tutorial on this lol. It's cool.

Amazing. I never would have thought there were so many options! But, of course, it's about proportions, the desired effect, etc. Genius! I also follow Lisa Eldridge, who loves to 'correct' her mouth and overdraw her lower lip, and Monica Blunder, who has asymmetrical lips and never 'corrects' them. It is so natural and sexy on her. Sam Chapman of Real Techniques/Pixiwoo also has asymmetrical lips and never 'corrects' them. Beauty is so individual. Thanks for reminding us!

Your videos are amazing! I’ve never been good at makeup so I rarely wear it😔 I’ve tried asking friends for tips and watching tutorials, but they are either skipping the basics because it’s assumed you know them, or they try to cover too many things at once which is overwhelming. I love that you have videos where you focus on ONE feature at a time, and super in-depth so we don’t miss anything. As a lifelong tom-boy who wishes she could doll up sometimes, these videos are SO helpful!!

As always, just wonderful! i love your videos cause they are not good only in the "practical" area, but the way you transmite colour theory, shadow theory, etc. makes them squisite: With you we're learning more than fashion trends, you teach techniques that are timeless and so useful. You are like a painter, a 2-D sculpturer of the face. And your "body types" series changed the way I see clothes and shapes forever. Listening to you singing it's another plus definitly.
I follow some"beauty gurus", but yours is definitly my favorite channel. Thank you so much! Love from aArgentina
PS. I really like your sweater
