Our climate is changing at a rate that's exceeded most scientific forecasts and impacting lives around the world.
140 million people have been displaced from their homes because of natural disasters linked to climate change.
The UN says the number of so-called 'climate refugees' could reach 300 million by 2050.
Drought, floods, fires and extreme temperatures can leave entire communities and cities without shelter, clean water and basic supplies.

So, what should be done about it?

Presenter : Hazem Sika

Guests:

Asad Rehman - Head of International Climate at Friends of the Earth - the organisers of the London conference.

Sterling Burnett - Research Fellow on Environmental Policy and Managing Editor of Environment & Climate News with the Heartland Institute.

Jonathan Neale - Co-ordinator with Global Climate Jobs.

The problem is; one scientist, one denier as it should be; 97 scietists, 3 deniers. Or 10 to one. It would make things so much clearer.

sorry but this video should have been made better. There is no link in the description. We don't know what part of the relocation of people is due to climate change

As a neutral, I would say that this debate won the skeptic by a landslide, he actually come with arguments and answer questions, asad rehma simple could not argue for his side, he just come with issults, mockery, and refers to all scienist like it is a democracy and that we should not debate, he do not answer a single argument from the skeptic. He maybe stand on the right side, but he did not won the debate to say the least.

This was very difficult to listen to. We are ALL people living on the same planet. Who CARES if climate change is the cause of the displacement? We are responsible to each other regardless! I'm not saying that global climate change isn't a very real thing. I'm saying that if you believe in it or not you ca't deny that we need to be human to each other.

I understand there is climate change, but I also support nuclear power as long as its safely regulated, seems like there are no other options at this point.
