Helvellyn Sunrise Epic MTB ride - OMB Summer MTB Edit

With the alarms set for 3.30am, 4 of us set off from Glenridding with the aim of catching the sunrise towards the summit. The weather for once in the Lakes was kind to us and we were treated to a spectacular sunrise and an even better descent back down into the valley!

All filmed using a GoPro Hero5 Black, GoPro Karma drone and Karma Grip.

Lovely shots and editing mate. Need to mtb the lakes sometime, walked it plenty but only rode whinlatter. Skiddaw looks good too.

Best edit I’ve seen of UK mtb! Awesome. How long was the entire ride? Planning a 2/3 ride in the lakes and trying to work out time/distance. Would you mind sharing your gpx from this ride? Looks different to the route I’ve been looking at.
