What Happened to Minecraft YouTuber NotNico? This YouTuber had vanished from his channel 4 months ago and hasn't uploaded since, so what happened to him? Well, he's actually been uploading this entire time, just not on this channel, he has been making videos with his friend Cash. But how has this changed the growth of his new channel and could it even overtake his old one?

Some thing's i'd like to point out:

1. A lot of creators made the switch because they were fed up of spending weeks on a video for it to only make them a few hundred bucks (not even enough to pay rent)
2. Not all creators do youtube as a hobby, you have to understand that youtube can be like any other job, you dont have todo it purply for enjoyment.
3. Plenty of people love the new content (even more then the old content), its just designed for a younger audience. Which makes complete sense because minecraft as a whole is played by mostly kids who are very young.

i am friends with tons of creators who are doing the exact same thing. everyone has ditched their old channels which they made content they cared about and started making kids content. the reason? you can make 30+ minute videos (higher video length = more money made off the video) with little editing and get millions of views easily. and BECAUSE its easy to make, you can make a SHIT TON of it, making you even more money. I'm not gonna lie, I did start my own kids channel and ran it for a week or two but decided to quit bc I could just put the same time and effort into my own channel and get the same results out of it. maybe not as quickly and i def wouldn't make as much money, but this channel would have more longevity to it

Edit: I agree a lot that YouTube should be about having fun. But these creators have been making income on YouTube for a while now and they probably consider it either a full time or part time job. Thus, they now want to make money from it. And who knows, maybe the kids content is fun for them.

The thing is, Nico’s original viewers have also grown older and stopped watching him. (Like me). I think it’s a really smart move for him to target younger audiences, because he’ll get more views since gaming has increased in popularity between kids

You have a point, these days most kids content creators irl and videogame, sound very ingenuine and what not, its like they're not really into it, I like kids content creators, like DanTDM who grow with their audience and are actually enjoying themselves, instead of changing their content for the bag, although I can understand why he would want to pursue the path that would give him more money
