in my opinion, I feel that the thing that the awakening teacher is teasing is similar to how the swords and guns in the game you could get a blessing in a curse to upgrade it and make it stronger. I feel that to further expand on like making the fruits, more powerful connecting with that scientist. And also, I don’t think it’s awakenings because they did say they were separating from it because in the image of this third post, the guy using the gravity seemed sort of on fire and that’s led me to believe that it’s a burning enchant on the fruit that is saved if you kinda understand my flow

also when it says "The boss is hoarding stolen tresures."; i think its like some new accesorries drop from the boss.
and about the gravity, i think that the scientist will give us quests to unlock the awaken moves of gravity (just like we have to awaken our race )
and yes the barrier fruit is no more, it has been reborn as the creation fruit.
