I am on the latest public beta and not having any issues. The issues I was having in Apple Notes (lots of lagging) has been completely resolved in this version. No battery life issues, control center works fine, all looks good. This seems like an RC build.

Although I don’t want to lay out to some of my VoiceOver buddies out there if you have an iPhone, and an iPad I recommend two things you can update, but as long if you don’t mind voiceover activation, being a little bit slow when you click on some settings inside the settings app for example general battery accessibility notifications sounds, and a couple more settings, pretty much and setting up most of the setting is making voiceover activation a little bit slow so if you don’t want that I rather suggest stay a little bit longer on iPadOS and iOS 17 but if you’re all OK with that then sure you can upgrade to 18.0 I just want to put that out there

This morning I literally unplugged my phone around 3 o’clock in the morning watch some YouTube videos literally not even five hours by 7:30 AM Eastern daylight time and almost died so I believe for me I only have about 4 1/2 hours of screen time wireless with the phone went when it was active But if I don’t use that much then I will die either way so it is a little bit. I’m not there but it’s still pretty good solid. I will say what I did notice that the iPad away 17.6.1 update on the iPad seventh GEN the second version but I have the battery is my good then my other iPad seven running on iPadOS 18.03 to 5 a quaker dying but on the iPadOS 17.6.1 version is more longer so I suppose it is doing a little bit not good, but all the way off.
In case of miss pronounce, because of dictation, I meant that in a short term, iPadOS, 17.6.1 update on iPad seventh generation is doing OK no problems a couple stutters here and there was voiceover swiping compared to iPadOS 18.0 public beta five on my other iPad seventh GEN the same thing it’s just has some more laggy swipe and activation with voiceover but overall it’s doing good Battery life is kind of tricky to protect on iPadOS 18, because is slowly dying more quicker but the 17 version is more stable so I don’t know Sometimes to 18 update battery is good and sometimes it doesn’t so it kind of depends how are use it

Does it lag like the previous betas or is it better? I installed dev beta 4 on iPhone 13 and experienced a lot of lag so I went back to 17
