Brian Barczyk was a passionate wildlife enthusiast and vlogger who dedicated his life to sharing his extraordinary journey with animals on YouTube since May 10, 2016. His remarkable adventures led him to be part of TV network series, produce “Brian In The Wild” a documentary in South Africa, travel globally to encounter incredible animals and their advocates, initiate “Checking In” a podcast, establish “AnimalConUSA” a convention for animal content creators and their fans, and create The Reptarium - an interactive reptile zoo in Utica, Michigan, among many many other achievements.

In March 2023, Brian faced the greatest challenge of his life with a diagnosis of inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. His strength, courage, and the unyielding support of the incredible #ReptileArmy community inspired him to continue sharing his story and pursuing his dreams, even in the toughest times.

Brian's vision for the LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium, a symbol of resilience and the power of dreams, is now a legacy that his crew and family are devoted to bringing to life in his honor. As we break ground on this expanded facility just across the street from The Reptarium, we embrace this mission as a testament to Brian's indomitable spirit.

I can't believe how strong Lori is as a person. Obviously she is still grieving, however she is doing what needs to be done and killing it. It would be great to hear a story from her about how she became so strong mentally. I know I couldn't do it.

Lori is doing amazing. I can't imagine the range of emotions she goes through on a daily basis. Over the years, she and Brian built an amazing team for their business that honestly looks and feels more like a family. Which is perfect. They are there for her and Noah, and that's awesome to have such a close-knit team who can grieve but also celebrate all these victories together.

It's been so long since I stopped watching Brian's channel after he died. Just recently came back right now and it still hurts but not as much but I can see his son doing the best he can to keep his channel alive and moving his channel forward as the new owner. I wish Noah the best in the future and can't wait for Legasea Aquarium to be finally be completed and able to tour so many cool exhibits.

I had to go back a watch a few of Brian's last few videos of the Legasea build. I just wanted to hear his excitement with everything that was happening and going to happen. Lori i understand what you going through as of your loss because i lost my wife in 2011 from diabetes and a bad infection, then my daughter passed away in 2019 from a very bad car accident . This has been such an incredible journey to watch! I started watching this channel just before Brian was diagnosed with cancer. I've had many family members who have passed because of cancer. Watching Brain was so inspiring to me, he had such a beautiful spirit and it seemed like no matter how bad that it got, he always kept a positive attitude. I continued to watch the videos because of Brian's dream, I wanted to see how this dream would come reality. Now this is the first channel I watch when I wake up, and I'm always checking to see if I missed anything. I wanted to thank all of the people, family, and friends of Brian for letting me continue to watch this journey. The Legasea is on my bucket list and I can't wait to come see it in person!
