Lost 6-Year-Old Found In the Middle of the River

A child was helplessly screaming in the water when this man noticed him. The man, who was fishing on the river and was in the process of reeling in a fish, quickly turned on his camera to video his catch. Little did he know he would soon forget about the catch entirely.

Upon hearing the screams from the middle of the river, he knew he had to act swiftly, especially considering a recent drowning incident in the area. Without hesitation, he dropped everything and focused solely on rescuing the child. He instructed the kid to grab onto his kayak, and with swift action, he pulled the child out of the water to safety on the shore. But his heroism didn't stop there. He went the extra mile by taking the child to his grandparents, briefing them about what had happened, and suggesting they call an ambulance to get him checked. Is he a true hero?

Not only did he bring him to safety, he also talked to him and calmed down his panic very well. Perfect example of how to handle such a situation. He was quickly reunited with his family after getting warmed up. Hero fs.

I was going to argue that it wasnt the parents fault bc i've seen the full video a while ago. But I just re-watched it and the dad's reaction was disturbing and it wasnt his grandparents it was 2 strangers the kayaker just knocked on the first door and asked for help. The kayaker sounded more concerned than the dad. He said "you saved me a bunch of hassle" not you just saved my child's LIFE! He was like well this has happened before he knows to swim to shore...this is a child! and the currents were strong even if he wasnt cold and panicked he probably couldnt. He didnt go over and hug his child or anything. He sounded so nonchalant as if his child didnt almost drown...Insane.
