What was shocking the most was Jesus’s reaction to Santosh’s question about what temple, mosque or church should he join. Jesus’s response that those things don’t mean much without first having a true relationship with Him was truly profound and revealing of who He is. He is very much like us in many ways. He wants very simple things—what most of us want here on earth—love, commitment, and to be treated kindly. This episode has provided me with such a feeling of peace and tranquillity knowing our Lord is in control despite what we see in the natural.
