Luke they check just few lego pieces when they put in a new mold to make sure that the machine is doing it right way they do not inspect every one 😂😂

i think that they only inspect a small amount of legos from each batch but the majority of them are un touched. your videos never fail to entertain, thank you for amazing content. 👌

correction - they don't individually inspect each piece, they only inspect the first batch after changing the mold to make sure the future molds will be correct.
Edit: I wasn't expecting a heart thx tho

When checking if the machine is working after they dismantle and clean it, they test run it and carefully measure the legos. In the actual large-scale manufacturing, the process is entirely automated except for the packaging and distribution of the legos.

As a legal collector, they don’t look through it thoroughly. They just quickly go rate for two or three seconds. That’s why Miss prints are kind of common, and if there is a misprint, you know they had to throw it away or whatever, but I would gladly take all the misprints that happens in Lego that they catch those self for hundreds and if it’s a valuable figure misprint shoe you’re looking at at least 100$

some lego pieces are commonly known like the 2x4 brick but some are pretty weird like the 1x1 rounded with hinge plate. i use the weird ones to make lego tranformers like optimus prime

Did you know each lego color has a different mold because each color cools in different proportional sizes.

Luke they man was wearing plastic gloves and they don’t inspect every individual piece they just inspect a few from every batch to make sure the whole batch is in good condition, if one piece is in bad condition they throw away the whole batch. Believe me i know several people personally that work in the lego industry.

Are you a LEGO fan, Luke? I could totally see you being an AFOL.

Also I don't think they check each individual one, the just check some. Their machines are consistent enough to not check them all

"Samples are sent to the quality department".
Yes, it's like when you go in the grocery store and the lady that stands there with a piece of cheese asks you: "Would you like a samle?" and you say: "Woooow!! I get every single individual piece of cheese in here?! Thank you soooo much!!"
Cheese lady: "Noo, I said a SAMPLE!!"
