Talk about a femininomenon: Not even 2 years ago, Chappell Roan was playing shows in 500-person capacity venues. On Thursday, her Lollapalooza crowd was one of the biggest fans had ever seen — and she wasn’t even headlining.

While planning for the festival, Chappell had to be moved to a bigger stage to accommodate a larger audience. Even then, the crowd overflowed the viewing area and beyond.
