Bought it yesterday straight after launch together with the new tablet 6 as a good combi deal in the Xiaomi shop in Portugal. Using this phone for just over 24 hours and all I can say is Holly shit this phone feels like it will last a lifetime. It's absolutly brillianttt

The IR is with the camera setup. This is actually an advantage if you want to do a little bit of trolling outside as you no longer need to point it like a remote making it obvious you're the one changing the channel, and you can instead act like you're scrolling through socials instead while aiming your cam to the TV general direction with your cam.

there's a mistake at the end sheet. it says 31 min full charge when you said before it's 41min. oh and ir blaster is hidden inside the camera module. other than that, solid review. subscribed :)

I love this compact phone rather than big tablet phones.

take the phone in the cold around 10*C (50*F) and start recording a video in 4k and within 3 minutes you have fog on main lens. Manufacturing defect for this type.
f the lens fogs up, it will be necessary to clean it from the inside after a while...how? Fog = water = dirty lens

Great review :) Taken to consideration that Xiaomi presented 3 different phones in the 14 series, the 14, the 14 Pro, and the 14 Ultra, then this one has to be the "Vanilla" one ;)
Only thing not being "vanilla" about it is the fact that if living in different countries than China, even the Global "vanilla" 14, costs a third more than the chinese version.

I live in Hong Kong and been using this phone for a while, no fogging issues whatsoever

I watched loads of video of this phone, mostly my hungarian fellas reported an issue about the main cam getting foggy, mine is coming in a few days but worried about that issue. Also your vids when you show 4k 60 is nice, but then 4k 30 looks so hazy, not sure if its caused by that or just the hdr is that bad but i d not think so, you just made me worried even more:(
