Awesome content, one question though why isn't surgery preferred in these type of cases? I have been dealing with ATFL problem now over a year without having instability but the injury repeated from ball contacts and getting stretched at those moments.

Good analysis. I had an ankle inversion injury about 6.5 weeks ago and I haven't been able to walk for more than 30 minutes without straining my ankle. I was a runner and still can't walk on terrains without straining my ankle. It's probably more to do with my weight and muscle mass, right?

I was wondering something similar when you mentioned that Martin's work ethic might help him shorten recovery time.... Thankyou.
This phrase is very common "depending on how the body responds".... I wonder what does the body's response depend on.. Is it only based on your past fitness levels (and during rehab) or are there are factors (genes?) too?

“Arsenal” medical expert?
Congratulations on your appointment to the mighty Arsenal, if what the title suggests is true.
