For no user data - drag the xpresso tag into the xpresso editor, click the red and add object, then click red again and add userdata > steering, so you will have both object and steering listed in this xpresso tag. No need to connect to the car body tag. Steering then worked for me on R21

this is not the easy way but this is the easy way to do it correctly... actually the easy way is animating the wheels and using a spline to animate the car and the spline must take from the ground floor that you use so the car will follow the bumpiness of the ground... it will take only 2 to 3 minutes
