DJI Pocket 2 Review

I took this little camera on a colder winter hike to do a short review on it.

I noticed that -15°C is when my pocket 2 starts to really hate life in terms of gimbal response. I just make sure it’s warm. Also been keeping it in a ziplock with a drying agent for long hikes. The condensation of temperature changes and sweat made me nervous.

Oh, and I’m kicking myself even more for not getting the creator combo. The iPhone adapter fell out of the case at some point yesterday and likely been plowed into a snow bank.

There are four gimbal modes actually - "full lock" stops the gimbal being moved by the handle in any direction including pan. Press and hold the button beside the joystick for about 2 seconds to activate that mode and a lock symbol appears in the screen. Press the button briefly to unlock.

As for face tracking - it's not as good as on the orignal model. But - you have a hat on, dark glasses, and a full beard - it sees no face! :)
