This happened to me after I updated windows on my laptop. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it and nothing has worked yet. This is super frustrating 😞

I click from steam to play game it starts preparing then it just keeps opening ea home page again and again

I have had to uninstall and reinstall my game 5 times now.. I have lost All my Happy Events rewards which I had them all .. I still have 3 open cases with EA and can No longer access a chat with them.... I am Soo Angry as I own everything they have and Pay $30 a yr for this game and they don't care when I email it takes them forever and when they email back all it says is Do you still need Help.. UMMM You didn't even Help me!!! Now I'm reinstalling for the 6th time UGH... I have done everything you have told me to do I'm at a loss at this point

ALSO always check your date and time are correct, this can cause issues like it did to me.

This is incredibly frustrating. My sims hasn’t been working for 3 days now and when I move the EA folder to the desktop, it’ll run, but no mods will be there. And it’s always I exit the game and I can’t get it to launch again. And I’ve always had problems with EA, they permanently kicked me out of my account after having it for more than a decade. I now use my niece’s account but I’m just done, it’s problem after another.

For me it was the g shade that’s causing the issue. i just deleted it and the sims worked

Mine just says unable to launch, says it is damaged or something is missing. I reinstalled it and moved out all of my mods and cc and deleted reshade, but nothing is working. Do you have any reccomendations?
