Webinar Short: The Bechdel Test

The Bechdel test is an imaginative tool for assessing power and relations in storytelling. Originally conceived to examine gender and movies, it has since been used to look at a range of identities in a wide variety of media. Applying it to our sites and our storytelling gives us a powerful tool to reorient our storytelling, identify gaps, target research, and build programming that helps us intentionally challenge systems of power.
