TOP 5 Projects of 2019

These aren't my favourites, but the ones that got the most views out of the 43 full build videos I made in 2019. The exception is my "How I Would Build The Great Pyramids" video, which has over 1 million views, but I don't qualify as a project.
It's been a fantastic 12 months and I'm looking forward to many more great projects in the coming year! Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2020!
1 - How To Make Wooden Barn Door Hardware
2 - Making A Sound Bar - High Quality Sound
3 - Making this Twin Screw Gear Linked Vise
4 - How To Make A Self-Clamping Straightedge Guide
5 - Was This Genius, Or A Waste Of My Time? Gear Connected Table Saw Nut Spinner-Oner

All of this years project were the best. As I am a wood turner now I don't make much but did make your "simple" bandsaw sharpening jig. Works fantastic. I also come in on the side and touch up the gullet. I use a 3/16 diamond chain saw bur to do that.
Thanks for this year,
Lee

You're correct, even in my eye those aren't your best projects, but they are useful ideas. That's why I, personally, watched them several times. BTW, thank you VERY MUCH for your content in 2019!

I am always in awe at how your brain works John. Great stuff. And the editing in this video is top notch! Thank you for putting in all of the time to share your stuff.

Even though this was a "best of" video, I absolutely loved it. The different types of music to go along with each project really seemed to fit those particular projects perfectly. There was enough of a tease for each project to pique the interest of a new viewer to make them want to watch the full video and the rest of your great content. Keep up the awesome work, John.

I have seen all of them and almost all of your videos. I like what you do and how you do it. Never to complicated and you provide the opportunity to get in depth plans with drawings and tips. Awesome year.

Thank you for the reminders! I forgot about the straight edge, I need to buy that plan, and the homemade wheels for the door. The caulking tube bushing was an ingenious idea. Happy new year.

For me the vise was the best build - really enjoyed seeing the pieces come together on that one.

Happy New Year John!
Of all the projects I’ve watched you create last year, the new table saw never ceases to amaze me. The build quality and the functionality of a shop-made tool like that should have made it number 1 on the list, in my opinion.
All the best to you in the coming year - looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Great compilation video John. Can anyone help me name the song/artist from 5:13 to 7:29? It is the soundbar clip and is hauntingly familiar, but I can't seem to place it. Thanks!
