Strange Otis Series 1 Parking Elevator at Columbia Center, Troy MI

This might be one of the most interesting Otis Series 1 elevators I've ever filmed (besides the Custom Series 1s inside the tower) There is a lot about this elevator that makes it unique. The question is where do I start?
*The floor passing chime is not typical.
*The indicator is digital rather than analog like typical Series 1s installed around this time
*The indicator changes early before the chime sounds (a lot like a Schindler)
*The alarm bell is white (appears to have been replaced)
*The door controls are green which is odd to see on a late 90s Series 1

Ooh, my favorite Series 1 Chime, the "Airplane" Chime as I like to call it! Also this looks more like an Early 1990's Install to me considering the Older buttons on the COP. Very strange but cool cab though.

I will say this is similar to the comfort inn I found out recently

This looks older than 98 in my opinion, this looks like a late 80’s early 90’s install

Did some research after filming here, this is definitely from 1999, I found satellite imagery of this part of the garage under construction at the time.

This is pretty odd. Sort of like the Royal Oak library in that it has a mix of old and new parts. New old stock perhaps.

Probably a late early series 1… that’s what I consider it.
