Miami vs. Cal Game Highlights | 2024 ACC Football

The 8th-ranked Hurricanes pulled off a miraculous fourth-quarter comeback against the Golden Bears to win, 39-38. The Hurricanes trailed 35-10 with 18 minutes left in the game, and Cam Ward connected with Elijah Arroyo on a 5-yard touchdown with 26 seconds left in the game for the game-winning score. Miami outgained Cal 278-26 in the fourth quarter and outscored the Bears 21-3 in the final quarter. Cam Ward was 35-53 passing the ball for 437 yards and two passing touchdowns, with a 24-yard rushing touchdown as well. Miami wide receiver Xavier Restrepo caught 7 passes for 163 yards, including a 77-yard reception on Miami's final drive. For Cal, quarterback Fernando Mendoza was 11-22 for 285 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jaydn Ott had 77 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns.

I have been a 'Canes fan since I was a child. I have seen some really good Miami teams. The 80s teams. The 90s teams. We have had great quarterbacks in the program as well. But not like Cam Ward. He is incredible. Heisman candidate? Should be. It's all about teamwork. That's what they did. Never gave up. Truly special this team. All because of their leader and coaching. This is football. The U.

I just love the fact that they fought back & won. They came back & took it home for the WIN! Many years teams would have folded up & took the asswhoopin . The effect cam ward has on the offense is amazing. He doesnt get shook ever. Im thinkin that them 305 boys are gonna be a lot more than a handfull for anybody the rest of the year if they show up to play. Damn it feels good to make people nervous again. 🙌
