JVNA - I'm With You

My first original in a very long time. My father passed away 2 years ago, and so I wrote this song thinking about him. I chose sounds and melodies that I felt would represent a very beautiful afterlife that he is resting in right now. The song is very ambient, because well...Idk...when I think about the afterlife like in the movies, theres probably a lot of clouds and shit being all misty and shit. Anyways, if you have a loved one, just remember they're probably in a better place and they'll always be with you. :D

This song is so emotional and deep. I've had a pet bird who passed away a few weeks ago and I miss him so much. The bird room feels so "empty" and "quiet" without his singing. I've had him for a year and wished I could have gotten more time with him. Even though I have other birds, the flock will never feel and be the same. My other birds were grieving over him too, especially his mate/best friend was affected the most and kept to himself after his friend's passing, but has now seeked comfort to his other flock members. I'm that kind of person who gets easily too attached to any new pets I get, so it did hurt when he passed away. I was there when he took his last breath and so was his flock members. And that's why I can relate to this song and hits me right where it hurts. It might just be a bird, but he was a family member too.
