Jai Hind, Subodh Ji & all brothers here...Our armed forces esp IAF need to be cured of "west Enamoured Syndrome" if Su-30 is a capable enough aircraft they should have tried to keep it updated instead of being solely focused on western glamour products like Rafale & F-35....these are no doubt among the most capable but it does not mean that you waste your time just in dreaming about them & keep ignoring what systems & capabilities you actually have...the recent delays & bans by western suppliers should be an eye opener & make us realize that ultimately we should depend only on our own capabilities & on those products to which we have access...for eg. we had licenses for RD-33s & AL-31s, apart from Kaveri program, and we should have planned initial tranches if LCA Mk2/AMCA/TEDBF & ORCA with these but we insited in GE 404/414s and now all our peojects are in serious geopardy of delay or even cancellations... its the old HF-24/HF-73 saga all over again, the "lobby" killed them in 1980s & its ready to strike again to kill all our deeams of LCA/AMCA/TEDBF

Quite a lot of people in our country consider these 250+ su-30 mki an -f-15 class of fighter as an junk or useless which needs to be ditched in an hurry either due to their ignorance, stupidity or blind false notion of "Always the West is the best" but if these 250+ su-30 mki are upgraded to modern standards in terms of avionics, sensors, weapons systems, defensive suite, and networking and communication systems then these 250+ su-30 mki in super sukhoi standard could turn out to be a real "ACE IN THE PACK" For the Iaf.
