Craig played a fantastical character called Confidence in an early episode of the BBC sci-fi comedy “Red Dwarf” who was the psychological manifestation of the main character’s, Dave Lister’s, (you guessed it!) confidence into human form. I think it’s clear that he adopted this character’s only trait, supreme confidence, as his own on-screen persona!
