In this video, I talk about how to freeze a frame and/or how to extend frame in Camtasia 9.

Typically people use this in their video editing projects when they need to talk about a certain frame and they need to freeze or extend it to have extra time while explaining what’s on the screen.

You can also use this feature when you are doing a cool slow motion or fast motion and you want to freeze an epic part of the video and then continue on with it a couple seconds after. Get creative with it. :)

Hi, Thank you for your tutorials on Camtasia.I use all your tips in my lessons to to my clients.I am using the latest Camtasia 2018 and I get a glitch sound in between the voice.I have tried to import it to Audacity and do some noise removal and export it back to Camtasia.It still does not seem to do its job.Kindly

This almost helped me. The option to "Extend Frame" is greyed out when I right click. However, in my case I have separated the video and audio so do you think that is the cause? I guess I can slow the video down to as a workaround.
