Nasty DUMPSTER Gaming PC - Shocking Restoration

The title says it all! I found a Old Gaming PC that somebody abandoned outside of a dumpster at my buddys work. This Computer seems like it was just leftover parts from somebody doing a upgrade but it was in very bad shape and this Gaming computer needed to be deep cleaned like no computer i have ever seen. I had no idea if the components still worked but I am on a mission to fix this old thing and make it into something epic! The CPU in this thing was a Ryzen 5 1400 and a GTX 1650.

With all the PCs and components that are thrown away, many millions of people who could never dream of owning something similar would be very happy...

I'm shocked you went through the entire build without testing it first. It's amazing that it boots!

The single stick of RAM is just Cyberpower doing Cyberpower things...

Awesome restoration. Really loved the work. I would prefer the old case though instead of a new one. Saves a lot of money utilising the old parts.

Love systems like this.... something to recycle. trash into treasure. do a teardown and chassis cleanup. reassemble and test. troubleshoot and get the old thing going.... Nice video! why anyone would toss out an AMD build is beyond me.... I love mine! MSI makes awesome motherboards. I have the B350 Gaming Plus with a Ryzen 5 5600G. love it! always TEST used equipment prior to doing your build. nothing worse than building something only to have to tear it apart again because of defective hardware. love your build!

I mean this find looks a bit faked, I can't believe you found the GPU next to the case which was nasty but if you look at the GPU it doesn't have a single bit of dust.

I think the GPU has been added for content for the video purpose.

Look at the PSU and PC case caked in dust and the GPU looks brand new.. well if you did find it you are one lucky guy.

I had some success with dumster pcs, some were there for a reason, some didnt worth the troubleshooting. Its exciting returning a pc to life ;)

Great restoration. The most I like was the "zero cable management" you applied, and I wonder why in the God's name you didn't test the original case (didn't you want to clean these mess?)... Blessings and greetings from Venezuela!!!

Good video. If I could make an observation tho. Pull the CMOS battery. It can short out components because it is still 3volts.

Looks good and no shame on dumpster pc's 😂I snagged a first gen x58 system off side of the road last year it had a Formula 3 mobo in it 😁24 gb 2400 ram and a i7 980x with a old school dh12 cooler power supply went bad so ppl just threw it out

Question. Why not test boot the components before going through the trouble of the restoration?

I always put the Motherboard together 1st with everything on it, on a Test Bench & get it running on my Test Bench & then Case it.

The computer, before you did your amazing job on it, was sadly better than my current rig lol

Rehab, when you installed the nvme drive, I laughed to myself at how easy it was. When I did my second one a few days ago, it took me 20 minutes to realize that what I was trying to, then what I screwed it into with was a standoff. It took me another 15 minutes to find the screws for it. I overcomplicated it so much because I wasn't paying attention. Great vid tho, and the build looks great.
